E-Glass Woven Roving Combo Mat is a complex mat made by stitching together woven roving and a layer of distributed chopped strands. Its main specification is woven roving (300g/m²~900g/m²) with chopped strands (50g/ m²~500g/m²).
It widely produces FRP products like wind energy,boat,and automobile.The end products inclue: dorm,boat hull ,auto shell,cooling vehicles,door and profile,etc .
Woven roving combo mat is made of woven roving and chopped fiberglass strand complex of, then stitched together with polyester yarn. It is compatible with Polyester, Vinyl and Epoxy resin and widely used in boat building, Auto parts, refrigerated tools and structural sections industry etc, suitable for hand lay up, RTM, pultrusion, vacuum processes.
FIBERGLASS COMPOSITE MAT:
Glass fiber composite MAT is made of glass fiber-free roving yarn arranged in one-way parallel, the outermost layer is cut into glass fiber yarn or short-cut felt of a certain length, and is sewn with organic fiber.
Mainly used for FRP pullout RTM forming, hand lay up molding and other processes, the end products are mainly FRP hull, car shell, plate, profile and so on.
Fiber structure can be designed to provide high strength in a certain direction;
The fiber is not easy to produce displacement and deformation, easy to operate;
Fabric without any binder, easy to soak;
The compounding of the structure can reduce the layering and effectively improve the production efficiency.

Fiberglass Stitched Mat is made of chopped fiberglass strands in a certain length, then freely put and stitched together with polyester tissue or carbon fiber tissue by polyester yarn. It is compatible with Polyester, Vinyl and Epoxy resin and widely used in pultrusion pipes and tanks, FRP boat, insulation panels, anode tubes, auto parts, bath tubes etc, suitable for pultrusion, filament winding, RTM, hand lay-up processes.

Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is an non-woven E- or C-glass fiberglass fabric manufactured by spreading continuous filament rovings of 50mm in length randomly and uniformly in combination with polyester binder in power form (or other binder in emulsion form).
Fiberglass mat (also known as chopped strand mat) has strands of fiber that are randomly oriented and held together with a styrene binder. When a resin is added to the mat, the binder dissolves and the fibers can be moved around.Chopped strand mat is very strong due to the fiberglass fibers compressed together at random angles, can be used for Matched Metal Die wet molding, Open mold applications. Chopped Strand Mat is used to build up thickness quickly and is often layered in between fiberglass fabric. It is compatible with polyester and vinyl ester resin.
Mat Production Process
Assembled rovings are chopped to a specified length, and then fall onto a conveyor randomly. The chopped strands are bonded together by either an emulsion binder or a powder binder. After drying, cooling and winding, a chopped strand mat is formed.
Emulsion Chopped Strand Mat
Emulsion Chopped Strand Mats are made of randomly distributed chopped strands held together by an emulsion binder. They are compatible with UP and VE resins. The roll width ranges from 200mm to 3,120mm. Special requirements may be available upon request.
Powder Chopped Strand Mat
Powder Chopped Strand Mats are made of randomly distributed chopped strands held together by a powder binder. They are compatible with UP, VE, EP and PF resins. The roll width ranges from 200mm to 3,120mm. Additional demands on wet-out and decomposition time can be available upon request.

Unless otherwise specified, the fiberglass products should be in dry, cool and moisture-proof area. The room temperature and humidity should be always maintained at 15ºC~35ºC and 35%~65%. It is best if the product is used within 12 months after production date. The fiberglass products should remain in their original packaging until just prior to user.
